:: Antonio Inoki turns sixty ::
On Feb. 20th, Antonio Inoki's sixtieth birthday was celebrated on a luxurious sunset cruise in Tokyo Bay. About 350 people gathered to join this special party to celebrate the birthday of "God of Pro Wrestling."
A red western vest and a red cowboy hat were presented to Inoki for wishing his long prosperity and continuous success. Inoki said, "If you are in good health and live energetically, you can come this far. Turning sixty means that you have lived and experienced enough to be able to listen to others and to be open-minded. I have delightedly accepted NJPW's offer to have this party. I am now already sixty, or I am yet sixty. Red tells to stop, but I will not stop, for I am not old enought to quit yet." |
