NJPW-USA is proud to announce an alliance with Ultimo Dragon and his Toryumon Mexico promotion. The pact is to allow the best fighters of the NJPW LA Inoki Dojo the opportunity to be seen in another country.

Seeing that NJPW-USA has hosted Ultimo Dragon, Ishimori and Minamino Takeshi we felt that it was only fair to send one of our own to compete at their event, so Simon Inoki, Tiger Hattori and the American Dragon participated on the August 29th Toryumon card in Mexico City. The American Dragon was in a 6-man tag against Ultimo Dragon. The Areno Coloseo was full of excited pro wrestling fans and they enjoyed The American Dragon’s pro wrestling technique and skills.

The main event was a match for the UWA Welterweight Championship that saw Ishimori loosing the match to Takeshi (because of outside interference from the corner man) and Tiger Hattori served as a special referee and Simon Inoki served as commissioner. Because of the illegal “groin shot.” the UWA title is now held up and the title will be decided in an upcoming match in Japan.
